I started out as a tutor when I helped my younger siblings with homework. I find it rewarding to help members of my family understand new things, and that experience led me to my desire to teach. I believe it's very effective to utilize examples and to relate concepts to help students understand the fundamental ideas of the subject. I went to Stony Brook University to earn my bachelor's degree in physics. I'm looking forward to attending graduate school and earning a teaching degree. I'm comfortable tutoring students in subjects like algebra one and two, calculus one through three, physics, history, social studies, and test preparation for the Regents exams. When I have spare time, I like to play video games, listen to music, and read.
